I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. The weather was beautiful here and everyone said they had a awesome time. It is a great time of the year for wagon rides, horseback riding, deer watching, and just sittin' around the camp fire swapping old stories.

To all the reunions, we look forward to seeing you again next year. The families seem to get bigger and bigger each year. It is really a treat seeing everyone building new experiences.

We are now thinking about Christmas and I am seeing lots of lights going up on the roads around the ranch. Santa will be stopping by, and there will be fireworks New Years Eve.

See you soon.

"Thanksgiving Week"

The week of Thanksgiving there will be a lot going on. I hope you can make it. You can enjoy horseback riding every morning, hikes in the afternoon, and evening entertainment.
Here is a list of the evening entertainment:
Wednesday, I will be singing around the campfire at 7:30.
Thursday, Joni will be doing line dancing at Ghost Town at 7:30.

Friday, World Champion Trick Roper Kevin Fitzpatrick will preform at 8:15.

Saturday, bring your camera and get your picture with the Long Horn Steer.

Of course there will be a campfire and smore's every night, and most likely some singin' too.
Want to go on a deer watchin' wagon ride? We'll do it.

It is really a pretty time here at the ranch. The leaves on the trees are changing and they tell me at Lost Maples State Park there are lots of colors. This tree is the one between the main house and the Lone Star Lagoon. On the drive to the ranch we can see lots of changing trees.

"Turkey Time"

We just finished up Holloween with a full moon and a spooky ride to Ghost Town. I don't think I have seen that many kids out trick- or- treating in a long time. The weather was the best we have seen and the campfire was hard to leave at night.

Now it is time to start looking for a turkey, so we'll crank up the tractor, find a turkey and get ready for the big day. Remember we do the cooking, all you have to do is show up, give us a call so we'll know how many turkeys we need to look for.
